Senior Plant Manufacturing Engineer at Power Partners

Matt Brock has worked in the engineering and environmental, health, and safety fields since 2004. Theirfirst job was as an EHS Engineer at Wabash National from 2004-2009. Matt then moved to Heartland Automotive, LLC as an EHS Engineer from 2009-2010. Matt returned to Wabash National in 2010 as a Continuous Improvement Engineer, then was promoted to Senior Environmental, Health, & Safety Manager. In 2019, they joined Hubbell Lighting as an Industrial Engineer, where they were responsible for data analysis and improvement processes related to business goals and objectives. In 2022, they began working as a Continuous Improvement Engineer at Power Partners. Throughout their career, they have used Lean tools to remove waste and improve competitiveness of the businesses they have worked for.

Matt Brock obtained their MBA in Business Administration from Indiana Wesleyan University between 2008 and 2010. Before that, they obtained a BS in Occupational Health & Safety from Purdue University between 1999 and 2004. In addition, they have obtained various certifications, such as OSHA 511 Occupational Safety and Health Standards for General Industry from the Mid-America OSHA Education Center in September 2016, Effective Communication from Purdue University in February 2013, Disney's Approach to Business Excellence from the Disney Institute in September 2012, Advanced Manufacturing Lean Practitioner I and Green Generalist from Purdue University in July and May 2012 respectively, and Advanced Manufacturing Lean Practitioner II from Purdue University in March 2012. Matt also completed BSI: OHSAS 18001 Internal Auditor Training.
