Kennedy McGuinness

Kennedy McGuinness has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. They currently work at PowerFlex as an Associate in Market Commercialization, where they previously held a position as a Market Commercialization Analyst. Prior to this, Kennedy was a Development Intern at Strata Clean Energy, LLC. They also worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the UNC Institute for the Environment, where they conducted data analysis using MATLAB and Google Earth Pro. Kennedy was a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, responsible for leading recitation discussions and grading papers. They also served as a Student Researcher at the Joint Graduate School of Energy and Environment. Kennedy gained experience in the renewable energy sector as a Summer Solar Development Intern at Birdseye Renewable Energy, where they conducted market analysis and developed employee management systems. Additionally, Kennedy worked as a Cycle Instructor at pürvelo and as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the UNC Institute for the Environment. They also held leadership roles as the National Director of Campus Advocates at Grooop and as a Marketing Intern at Karges Media.

Kennedy McGuinness pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, which they completed from 2016 to 2019. Subsequently, they obtained a Master of Science degree in Information Science from the same university, commencing their studies in 2019 and completing them in 2021. Additionally, they briefly attended King Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi in 2019, focusing on Energy and Environment studies, although they did not earn a degree from this institution.
