Job Description

As Marketing Strategist, you will have experience in marketing, art direction, and social media management. In addition to being an outstanding communicator, you will also demonstrate excellent interpersonal and analytical skills. As we grow, we’re expecting you to help us do the thinking and planning to streamline the project implementation process.

You have a complete understanding of our customer journey marketing, funnels, campaign mapping, list building, creating audiences, content marketing, and more. We also hope that you have experience in service-based businesses, B2B, or tech startups.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

Responsibilities and duties will include planning, implementing, and monitoring our digital marketing campaigns across all digital networks at Powerful Impact.

Some examples are as follows:

- Plan and execute all digital marketing, including SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and display advertising campaigns

- Design, build and maintain our social media presence

- Measure and report the performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)

- Identify trends and insights, and optimize spending and performance based on the insights

- Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies

- Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests

- Collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize the user experience

- Utilize the strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touchpoints

- Instrument conversion points and optimizing user funnels

- Collaborate with agencies and other vendor partners

- Evaluate emerging technologies. Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate

- Design and oversee all aspects of our digital marketing department including our marketing database, email, and display advertising campaigns

- Develop and monitor campaign budgets

- Plan and manage our social media team

- Prepare accurate reports on our marketing campaign’s overall performance

- Coordinate with advertising and media experts to improve results

- Identify the latest trends and technologies affecting our industry

- Evaluate important metrics that affect website traffic, service quotas, and target audience

- Work with your team to brainstorm new and innovative growth strategies

- Oversee and manage all contests, giveaways, and other digital projects

Job Requirements:

Skills and Technical Knowledge:

- Proven work experience with digital marketing (growth marketing considered a plus)

- Ability to understand and create customer journeys

- Proven experience managing marketing teams

- Strong experience with lead generation and performance marketing

- Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media, and/or display advertising campaigns

- Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and convert

- Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels

- Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments

- Solid knowledge of Google Analytics, Tag Manager, HotJar, and other tracking tools

- Experience in setting up and optimizing Google Adwords campaigns

- Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking

- Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
