Business Development Lead at Powergen Renewable Energy

Meghan Kubic has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Meghan started their career as an Intern at the Development Office of Akron Children's Hospital of the Mahoning Valley in 2011. Meghan then worked as a Clerical Aide at the Northwestern University Audiology Clinic. In 2012, they served as a Lab Assistant at the Radhakrishnan Molecular Biosciences Lab.

Meghan's work experience also includes being a Community Service Aide at Rotary International from 2013 to 2014. Meghan then joined Erie Family Health Center as a Community Health Intern, where they promoted health messages and helped establish a Health Information Desk. In 2014, Meghan joined Peace Corps as a Community Health Empowerment & Youth Development Facilitator. In this role, they led various initiatives, including fundraising and grant-writing, and raised significant funds for the school compound.

From 2018 to 2019, Meghan worked at Village Energy, first as a Monitoring and Evaluation Consultant for their traveling solar academy and later as the Director of Human Resources and Data Analytics. Meghan was responsible for launching the academy and managing M&E efforts.

In 2019, Meghan joined Aptech Africa as a Business Development Manager, where they contributed to the company's growth and development. Currently, they are working as a Business Development Lead at PowerGen Renewable Energy, a role they started in December 2020.

Meghan Kubic obtained their Bachelor's degree in Biology from Northwestern University between 2010 and 2014. Meghan later pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Renewable Energy at the Institute of Distance Learning - Berlin University of Applied Sciences and Technology. This program is expected to span from 2021 to 2024. Additionally, in October 2018, Meghan earned a certification in "Data for Solar Business Decision-Making Training" from the United Nations Capital Development Fund (UNCDF).
