Caroline Born

Caroline Born is an experienced illustrator and animator with a Bachelor of Science in Media Arts, specializing in animation from The Art Institutes. Currently serving as an Illustrator at Powerhouse Animation Studios, Inc. since December 2013, Caroline focuses on background and character illustration as well as layout development. Freelance work since December 2009 includes animation, illustration, visual development, and video editing for various clients, including Motionart Media Boutique and Tempus Edax Rerum Publications. Previous roles include Character Designer at Trixter for the animated series "Lilly the Witch," and freelance animator/editor for clients such as Coca Cola and Transitions Optical at THIS IS RED. Caroline has also contributed to projects for Animal VFX and gained early experience through an internship in Flash animation and character design. Additionally, a summer role as a Recreation Assistant involved arts education for children in Pittsburgh. Proficient in Adobe Flash, After Effects, and Photoshop, Caroline Born combines artistic talent with technical skills in the animation and illustration fields.
