Karen Webster MBA

Karen Webster MBA has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and industries. Their most recent role was as the Head of People at PowerPhotonic starting in November 2022. Prior to that, they worked as an HR Business Partner at Ithaca Energy from March 2022 to November 2022, where they were responsible for various HR functions including offshore platforms, energy transition, and finance projects. Before joining Ithaca Energy, Karen served as a Senior Human Resources Business Partner at Baker Hughes from May 2020 to January 2022, leading redundancy projects and supporting drilling services and field services teams. From 2017 to 2020, they worked as a Senior Human Resources Manager at Dover Fueling Solutions, where they were part of the senior leadership team and responsible for developing and implementing the people plan. Prior to that, Karen held the position of Human Resources Operations Manager at Tokheim from April 2013 to April 2017, managing HR operations and partnering provision across multiple locations. Karen Webster began their career at BAE Systems, Inc., where they held various roles including Human Resources Project Manager and Human Resources Manager for Large Aircraft. Karen also briefly worked as a Human Resources Consultant at Brechin Castle Estate and as a Human Resources Manager at Findlay & Company.

Karen Webster MBA completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Abertay University in the years 1995 to 1998. Prior to that, they pursued a Postgraduate Diploma in Management Studies from Dundee and Angus College. In addition, they obtained a Higher National Certificate (HNC) in Accountancy from the same institution.
