Mike Kari

Mike Kari has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Mike'smost recent position was as the Senior Director of E-commerce at Powerplay Retail™, a role they started in February 2023. Prior to that, they worked as the Senior PMO, Director of Marketplaces at the same company from June 2022 to February 2023. Mike also held the position of Senior Project Management Office at Powerplay Retail™ from June 2021 to February 2023.

Before joining Powerplay Retail™, Mike worked as the Principal Consultant at DolJenn Performance Consulting, LLC from May 2020 to February 2022. Mike was also the Senior Manager Organizational Change at Michael Kors from December 2019 to April 2020, and the Manager of Change at Gap Inc. from February 2019 to December 2019.

Mike also has experience working at Target Canada, where they held various positions including Merchandise Planning Operations Manager from January 2014 to June 2015, Target Canada Project Lead/Event Management Expert from August 2013 to January 2014, and Senior Assistant Buyer from April 2010 to May 2012. Mike also served as a Special Work Assignments Expert at Target Canada from May 2012 to August 2013.

Mike began their career as a Financial Analyst at Michael Foods Inc. in July 2008 and later became a Customer Accounting and Analysis Specialist from August 2007 to July 2008.

Mike's earliest work experience was at the University of Minnesota Bookstore, where they worked as a Customer Service/Scholarship Representative from December 2003 to August 2007. Mike also served as a Community(Resident) Advisor at University of Minnesota's Yudof Hall from August 2006 to May 2007.

Mike Kari began their education journey in 2000 at De La Salle, where they obtained a degree of unspecified nature and field of study. From 2003 to 2007, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Global Studies with a focus on International Political Economy and East Asia at the University of Minnesota. In 2005, they briefly attended Kanda University of International Studies, specializing in Japanese Language and Culture with an emphasis on Economics. In the same year, Mike also undertook studies at Tsinghua University, concentrating on Business and Commerce.

To further enhance their professional development, Mike obtained a Prosci Certified Change Practitioner certification from Prosci in April 2019.
