Ben Chatfield has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Ben started their career in 1993 as an Associate at Booz, Allen & Hamilton, where they performed system development projects and coded various systems. Ben then moved on to American Management Systems (AMS) as a Principal, where they managed projects for governments, dot-coms, and Fortune 500 firms.

In the year 2000, Ben joined Lumenos as the Director of Application Development/Data Architect. Ben played a pivotal role in developing and sustaining the company's data processing ability and successfully led various projects. In 2007, they took on the role of VP of Database Architecture & Services at Exmplar, where they managed a team and delivered successful marketing campaigns.

From 2007 to 2011, Ben owned and managed Chatfield Management Systems, LLC, where they provided consulting services and advised clients on innovation management and disaster recovery. During this time, they also discovered the organizational cause of a major project failure.

In 2008, Ben served as an Assistant Professor at the University of Maryland University College, Graduate School of Management and Technology, teaching MBA and Doctoral classes.

From 2009 to 2016, they worked at PowerTek Corporation as the Director/Program Manager/Solutions Architect, leading teams and overseeing system/software engineering and program management.

Most recently, Ben has been working at Powertek Corporation as a Program Manager since December 2018.

Ben Chatfield has an extensive education history. Ben earned a Doctorate in Management from the University of Maryland Global Campus, which they attended from 2005 to 2008. Ben also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language and Literature/Letters from Washington College, which they obtained between 1990 and 1992.

Ben also holds certifications such as Certified SAFe® 4 Agilist, OMG-Certified Expert in BPM 2 (OCEB 2), TOGAF 9 Certified, and Oracle Certified Professional Database Administrator (OCP DBA) Oracle9i.

Ben has continued to enhance their skillset by acquiring certifications such as CompTIA Security+ ce, PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), PMI Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), and Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO). Other certifications they hold include CMMI Associate, Certified SAFe® 4 DevOps Practitioner, RHCE (Red Hat Certified Engineer), and Red Hat Certified Technician (RHCT).
