Matt Evans serves as the Director of Investments at Environmental Commodity Partners LP, a firm managing over $450 million in environmental assets. As a co-founder and Chairperson of UpEnergy, Matt focuses on combating poverty and climate change through technology aimed at vulnerable communities. Additionally, Matt is the CEO of PowerUP and has previously held roles including Board Director at WattTime.org and Managing Director at Impact Carbon, where significant contributions were made to carbon offset methodologies. Matt's early experiences include product management at SunPower Corporation and program management roles at NESsT and Ashoka, along with academic research at Stanford University. Matt holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics and International Relations from Stanford University and an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley, with concentrations in Marketing, Project Finance, and Social Impact Management.
