Allen Stoneberg

Allen Stoneberg, PEng has a diverse work experience in the energy storage and engineering fields. Allen is currently working as the Director of Product Management at Powin, where they are responsible for leading the sustainable transformation of the electric grid through energy storage solutions. Prior to that, they worked at ESS, Inc. as the Director of Field Operations and Director of Engineering, where they established and administered global field service operations and oversaw the productization of emerging energy storage technology. Allen also has experience as the Director of Product Engineering at C&D Technologies and as a Principal at Cognys Industrial, where they provided senior engineering and program management support to various clients. Allen has also held positions at Maxwell Technologies, SunCentral Inc., Angstrom Power Inc., EaglePicher, Alpha Technologies, and Microsafe Industries, Inc., where they contributed to research, development, and management in the energy storage and engineering fields.

Allen Stoneberg, PEng obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Applied Science (Mechanical) from The University of British Columbia in 1982. Allen also holds certifications as a Licensed Professional Engineer from both APEGBC and Professional Engineers Ontario, obtained in 1987 and 1985 respectively.
