Esther A.

Esther A. has a diverse work experience history. Esther most recently worked at Powin as the Senior Director of Sustaining Engineering since December 2021. Prior to that, they held roles at Powin as the Senior Director of Customer Success from October 2019 to December 2021, and as the Senior Director of Products and Programs from October 2017 to October 2019.

Before joining Powin, Esther worked at Sunverge Energy, Inc as the Director of Technical Operations from May 2015 to June 2017, and as the Technical Program Manager for the Asia-Pacific region from July 2013 to May 2015.

Esther also has experience as a Language Instructor at the Overseas Training Center from April 2008 to July 2013.

Earlier in their career, Esther worked at Altia Central as an ALT from September 2006 to March 2008, and at the Japan Exchange and Teaching Program(me) (JET) as an ALT from August 2001 to August 2004.

Esther A. attended the University of Michigan from 1997 to 2000, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Asian Studies. Esther also holds additional certifications including a CELTA (Certificate of English Language Teaching to Adults) from Cambridge University and JLPT Level 1 (Japanese Language Proficiency Test) from the Japan Foundation and Japan Educational Exchanges and Services.
