Naval Katoch

Naval Katoch is an experienced professional in machine learning and data science, currently serving as the Machine Learning Operations (MLOps) Lead at PPG since May 2019. In this role, Naval leads the design of PPG's Machine Learning Platform using Microsoft’s Azure cloud services and collaborates with cross-functional teams to enhance deployment speed, scale AI projects globally, and reduce overhead costs. Previously, Naval held positions including Data Science Segment Lead and Senior Data Scientist at PPG, where strategic oversight of AI initiatives and customer churn project management was undertaken. Prior roles included a Data Scientist position at IBM, focusing on inventory cost recovery, and an internship where an interactive web application for IBM Watson Health was developed. Naval began a career as a Systems Engineer at Tata Consultancy Services, contributing to data warehousing projects, and holds a Master’s degree in Information Systems Management from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics from the University of Mumbai.
