Polina R. Ware Ph.D.

Polina R. Ware PhD, MBA, is a highly accomplished leader in technology and innovation with extensive experience in polymer science and engineering. Currently serving as Global Director of Technology & Innovation at PPG since January 2023, Polina is focused on revitalizing the metal packaging science and technology division through leadership development and strategic growth initiatives. Prior to PPG, Polina held positions including Global Technical Director at Rogers Corporation, where Polina led a team in developing innovative polymeric solutions, and Global Head of Product Development and Innovation at LANXESS, overseeing significant product development efforts. Polina’s early career includes roles at 3M and IBM, where pioneering work in product development led to advancements in safety and sustainability. Polina holds an Executive MBA from Northwestern University and a Ph.D. in Polymer Science and Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
