John Kern

John Kern is an experienced IT professional with a strong background in performance and capacity management, business relationship management, and technology solutions architecture. Currently serving as Manager of IT Performance and Capacity Management at PPL Corporation since March 2012, John Kern directs teams focused on organizational performance metrics, business improvement, and IT asset management. Prior to this role, John held various leadership positions at AmerisourceBergen, including Director of Technology Solutions, where efforts were made to stabilize electronic purchasing processes, and IT Manager for SAP Solutions Delivery. John's earlier experience includes significant roles at Agere Systems and AT&T, focusing on Oracle solutions and support for supply chain and financial systems. John Kern holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Villanova University and a Master’s degree in Information Systems from DeSales University.
