Kelli Barnett-Carey

Kelli Barnett-Carey has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Kelli began in 2010 as an Assistant Editor at Programmatic Perspectives and later worked as a Document Rater and Business Writing Consultant at Purdue University's Mechanical Engineering Writing Enhancement Program. In 2012, they became a Project Manager at both Find8 Digital and Marketing Support Services, Inc, where they successfully managed projects from start to finish. From 2014 to 2015, they served as an Assistant Language Teacher in the Japan Exchange and Teaching Program. Since 2015, they have been with Public Partnerships | PPL, starting as an Assistant Program Manager before progressing to the role of Sr. Proposal Specialist, where they managed the responses for numerous Request for Proposals (RFPs) and coordinated teams of 15. Most recently, they have taken on the role of Marketing Director at the same company.

Kelli Barnett-Carey completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Professional Writing and Japanese from Purdue University, where they studied from 2008 to 2012. In 2011, they also attended the University of Dundee for a short period to pursue a course in "Post-Industrial Technical Writing" as part of their Professional Writing studies. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including a JLPT N5 Certification from the Japan Foundation and Japan Educational Exchanges and Services, as well as Monday.com Certifications in Advanced Workflows, Implementation, and Product from monday.com.
