Abhishek Gowda S

Abhishek S is an Engineering Manager at Practo, leading the consumer marketplace backend services, which include Search, Transaction, and Content, managing a team of eight since December 2017. Prior experience at Practo includes roles as Lead Software Engineer, where Abhishek planned and executed the migration of the Practo Search engine from Lucene to an Elastic Search self-managed cluster, achieving zero downtime, and as Senior Software Engineer specializing in backend development for full stack web applications. Before Practo, Abhishek contributed to ShoreTel as a Software Engineer, focusing on cloud expansion and performance improvements. Abhishek holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Sri Jayachamarajendra College of Engineering, Mysore, and completed pre-university studies at Marimallappa PU College, Mysuru.
