Elke MacKridge

Elke Mackridge (née Burger) has over 10 years of experience in the field of human resources. Elke currently holds the position of Chief People Officer at Pragma Global since February 2023. Prior to that, they worked at MANE for almost 7 years, starting as a Human Resources Assistant in February 2012 and progressing to roles such as Human Resources Project Manager and Human Resources Development Manager. During their time at MANE, Elke was responsible for various areas of HR, including project management, talent management, employee wellness, and organizational development. Before joining MANE, Elke gained experience at The Shoprite Group of Companies, where they held positions as Regional Personnel Manager and Personnel Officer.

Elke Mackridge (née Burger) has a diverse education history. Elke started by earning a Matric Certificate from Bellville High School in 2007. Elke then attended Stellenbosch University from 2008 to 2010, where they pursued a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) degree in Industrial Psychology and Entrepreneurship. In 2011, Elke completed their Honours degree in Industrial Psychology (B.Com (Hons)) at Stellenbosch University. Elke furthered their education at Stellenbosch University from 2012 to 2013 and obtained a Master’s degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology (M.Com (Psych)). Recently, in 2021, Elke attended the University of Cape Town to gain a Project Management Foundation certificate in Project Management.
