Weston Ruths began their professional career in 2016 as a Data Scientist at Petro.ai, where they programmed data analysis tools and wrote tutorials on production forecasting for oil and gas companies. In the same year, they also enrolled in The Basic School as a student. In 2017, they attended the Marine Corps Communications & Electronics School (MCCES) as a Communications Officer Student and Class President, as well as a Software Developer. That same year, they joined the U.S. Army Infantry School as a Basic Airborne Course Student and the 1st Reconnaissance Battalion, USMC as a Communications Officer/Cyber Security Officer/Suicide Prevention Officer. In 2021, Weston began working at Lockheed Martin as a Systems Engineering & Program Management Intern in Military Space, where they created strategic initiatives and implemented agile methodologies and digital tools for cross-functional teams. Weston also worked at Regent Game as an Indie Game Developer, creating Regent, a mobile base-building game with 100+ pre-registrants for the alpha release. Additionally, Weston worked as a Business Development Intern at Hedron, where they strategized deals with the company’s first commercial customers for its in-orbit communication infrastructure. Currently, Weston is a Product Manager at Pragma Platform.

Weston Ruths holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Rice University, obtained in 2016. Weston then pursued graduate studies at Harvard University, obtaining a Master of Science in Engineering in 2022. Weston also holds a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School, also obtained in 2022. Additionally, they hold a Master of Science in Engineering from the Harvard John A. Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, also obtained in 2022. Weston also holds a Top-Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information Clearance from the United States Department of Defense.
