Rui Alcobia

Rui Alcobia is an experienced IT professional currently serving as the Group IT Manager at Fischer Connectors since February 2022 and has held multiple leadership roles including Group IT Infrastructure & ERP Manager and Group ERP leader. As a co-founder of PRAGMASOFT Portugal since October 2000, Rui specializes in financial planning and investment evaluation. Prior to Fischer Connectors, Rui managed operations as the North Delegation Manager and IT Director at IBERDATA from February 2016 to February 2022, focusing on cost optimization and team management. Rui's earlier career includes roles such as Business Unit Manager and CIO at HOSPISISTEMAS, as well as IT Manager and Technician at IBERDATA, and a systems analyst at EFACEC. Rui holds an MBA in International Business Administration from Católica Porto Business School and a degree in Electronics and Computers from Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto.
