We are currently seeking an HR Generalist to join our team in our Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois headquarters. As an HR Generalist you will be responsible for a wide range of Human Resources activities, including but not limited to recruitment, employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, and compliance. The ideal candidate will be a proactive and detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
Recruiting, screening, and interviewing candidates for open positions; collaborating with hiring managers to understand skills and competencies required for each opening.
Coordinating onboarding and offboarding of team members; including scheduled check-ins and exit interviews.
Serving as a trusted advisor to employees and managers, providing guidance on HR policies and procedures while displaying a high level of business acumen and discretion.
Facilitating performance evaluation processes, providing guidance to managers on performance-related issues, and recommending steps to improvement.
Administering the employee benefit program, coordinating open enrollment, answering employee inquiries and coordinating with providers as needed.
Maintaining accurate employee records in various HR databases and systems, ensuring compliance with relevant federal, state and local regulations and internal policies.
