Gregory J. Mishkel MD MBA is a highly experienced cardiology expert currently serving as the Division Head of Cardiology, Co-Director of the Cardiovascular Institute, and VP of cardiology operations at NorthShore University HealthSystem since January 2019. With a career spanning several decades, Gregory holds a senior leadership role in the management of Prairie Cardiovascular Consultants, Ltd., one of the largest cardiovascular medical practices in Illinois. Gregory has also served as the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Director, overseeing high-volume operations and complex cases. As a Physician Consultant for various organizations, Gregory provides medical insights for cardiovascular devices and procedures. Previously, Gregory was the Executive Medical Director at Prairie Heart Institute, managing a large team of cardiologists and surgeons. Academic credentials include an MBA from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business and an MD from multiple prestigious institutions, including McMaster University and the University of Toronto.
