Chaitanya Joshi

Chaitanya Joshi has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Chaitanya started their career as a Final Year Project Intern at Burckhardt Compression India Pvt Ltd in 2006. From there, they worked as a Business Planner at Krohne Marshall Pvt. Ltd. from 2007 to 2009, where they were involved in various projects related to business planning and system development.

In 2009, Chaitanya joined Mather & Platt Pumps Ltd. as a Marketing Engineer, focusing on projects and systems in the oil and gas sector. Chaitanya participated in tenders, pre-bid meetings, and techno-commercial discussions, and selected engineered solutions based on customer specifications.

In 2010, Chaitanya moved to INOXCVA as an International Business Development professional in the oil and gas sector. Chaitanya developed strategies to increase market share for capital equipment used in oil and gas exploration and worked on cryogenic turnkey projects for LNG. Chaitanya also conducted business planning, cost estimation, feasibility studies, and garnered approvals from major customers and consultants.

From 2011 to 2013, they worked as a Business Manager (International Marketing and Business Development) at Thermax Ltd., where they led the globalization strategy deployment project for business development in the power and energy sector. Chaitanya also served as the Country Manager for the MENA region and formulated market entry strategies.

In 2013, Chaitanya joined WILO SE as a Business Development Manager, responsible for strategic business development in the energy sector and brand positioning. Chaitanya managed customer relationships, mapped sales business processes, and upgraded business processes.

From 2014 to 2016, Chaitanya worked as the Chief Consultant - Business Development at O&G and Power PMC. Here, they focused on business expansion through strategic alliances, team building, and consultancy services in the energy, cement, petroleum, and manufacturing sectors. Chaitanya also contributed to the development of software platforms for renewable energy projects.

Currently, Chaitanya holds the position of Chief Manager - Business Development at Praj Industries, where they have held multiple roles since 2016. Their responsibilities encompass ensuring business growth in the energy sector, enabling energy transition through ecosystem development, and program management for the BioMobilityTM platform, which promotes sustainable transportation.

Chaitanya Joshi completed a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from Savitribai Phule Pune University, from 2004 to 2007. Before that, from 2001 to 2004, Chaitanya obtained a diploma in Mechanical Engineering from S.V.C.P. Chaitanya also holds a certification as a Young Manager from TATA MANAGEMENT TRAINING CENTER, although the specific year and month of obtaining this certification are unknown.
