Makarand (Mak) Joshi has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Makarand (Mak) started their career as an Engineering Trainee at Cipla in 1999. In 2002, they worked as a Technical Assistant at Datapro InfoWorld Limited and then transitioned to a Design Engineer role at Mech-Well Industries Pvt. Ltd.
In 2005, Makarand joined Praj Industries and held various roles over the years. Makarand (Mak) started as a Management Engineer Trainee and later became an Associate Executive in Business Development for South India. Makarand then moved into Proposal Engineering roles, progressing from Assistant Manager to Senior Manager. In 2012, they became Chief Manager of Proposal Engineering for Africa before transitioning to Assistant General Manager and eventually Chief Manager of Business Development for Southern & Eastern Africa. Makarand's most recent role at Praj Industries is Head of Business Development for Africa & Middle East, a position they have held since September 2018.
