Sachin Deokar

Sachin Deokar has over 17 years of work experience in various industries. Sachin started their career as a Safety Officer at U B Engineering Limited Pune, where they conducted safety training, organized safety committee meetings, and conducted site inspections. Sachin then worked as a Safety Officer at Force Motors Ltd, where they focused on OHSAS 18001 documentation. Later, they joined Sai Advantium Pharma Limited as a Deputy Manager in HSE, where they inspected work sites for safety issues and investigated accidents. Sachin also worked as a Deputy Manager in HSE at Bridgestone Tyres, where they conducted environmental monitoring and held meetings with officers. Sachin then became a Production Engineer at Sai Ganga Beverages, supervising manufacturing processes and diagnosing problems in the production line. Currently, Sachin is working at Praj Industries, first as an Assistant General Manager in HSE, conducting review meetings with top management and developing HSE annual plans. Sachin also briefly served as the Corporate HSE Head at Praj Industries.

Sachin Deokar has a diverse education history spanning multiple fields of study. In 2021, they completed the NEBOSH IGC program at NIST Global, focusing on NEBOSH. From 2010 to 2012, they pursued an Executive Masters in Business Administration (EMBA) with a specialization in Safety Management at the Indian School of Business Management and Administration. In 2005 to 2006, Sachin obtained an Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety from the Central Labor Institute, qualifying him as a safety professional. Prior to that, from 2000 to 2003, they attended KBP Polytechnic - Sanjivani, where they earned a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. Sachin's education journey began at the Seva Nikan Convent School in Kopargoan, where they completed their education until the 10th standard. Furthermore, they have additional certifications in ISO 45001:2018 Lead Auditor from TUV Nord, obtained in April 2019, and in ISO 14001:2015 Lead Auditor, also from TUV Nord, obtained in April 2017.
