Gerrit Blommaert

Gerrit Blommaert has over 20 years of work experience in engineering roles. Gerrit began their career at Opel as a Control System Engineer from August 1994 to April 1996. Gerrit then worked as a Control System Engineer at Volkswagen Belgium from May 1996 to April 1997. Gerrit continued their career at Procter & Gamble as a Control System Engineer from May 1997 to July 1998. Gerrit then joined Praxair as an Advanced Control System Engineer from August 1998 to October 2004. Gerrit later served as a Senior Process Engineer at Praxair from November 2004 to November 2007. Gerrit then worked as a Mechanical Equipment Engineer at Praxair from December 2007 to January 2009. Gerrit then took on the role of Lead Mechanical Equipment Engineer at Praxair from January 2009. Gerrit briefly served as a Commissioning Manager at Praxair from March 2015 to December 2015.

Gerrit Blommaert completed their Bachelor's degree in Science (B.S.) at Atheneum Boom from 1985 to 1989. Gerrit then proceeded to pursue a Master's degree in Engineering at Hogeschool Antwerpen from 1991 to 1994. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute in 2004.
