Collin Cathey

Collin Cathey has a range of work experience in different industries. Collin began their career as a Sandwich Artist at Subway in 2012 and worked there until 2013. In 2014, they worked as a Chef Assistant at Sol Pizzeria and also served as an Environmental Specialist at Colorado State University. In 2015, they gained knowledge in tax preparation while working as a Tax Preparer at Jackson Hewitt Tax Service Inc. Collin then moved on to Key2 Accounting & Payroll Vault as a Tax Intern. From 2017 to 2019, they worked as a Staff Accountant at Key2 Accounting. In 2019, they joined Accountingprose as a Number Cruncher, attracted by their remote workplace environment and better work/life balance. Collin'smost recent jobs include being an Accountant and Office Administrator at PreAct Technologies and serving as Chief of Staff starting from February 2023. Collin is also interested in furthering their education in taxation and has gained experience in preparing individual and corporate taxes during their internships.

Collin Cathey obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting from Colorado State University. Collin attended the university from 2012 to 2017. Additionally, in July 2018, Collin received a certification as a Quickbooks Online Pro Advisor from Intuit.
