Ferhat Fenercioglu

Ferhat Fenercioglu has extensive experience in the field of hardware engineering. Ferhat is currently the Director of Hardware Engineering at PreAct Technologies, where they have been leading the hardware team since November 2021 before being promoted to their current position in February 2023. Prior to this, Ferhat worked at Curtiss-Wright Defense Solutions, starting as a Senior Hardware Engineer in July 2017 and later becoming a Principal Hardware Engineer in February 2019. Ferhat then served as the Product Development Manager from January 2020 until joining PreAct Technologies.

Before joining Curtiss-Wright Defense Solutions, Ferhat worked as a Hardware Specialist and Team Leader at Profilo Payment Systems, eData Elektronik A.S. from February 2013 to June 2017. Prior to that, they were the Technical Managing Partner at FND Group from April 2012 to February 2013, where they were involved in the design and development of various projects, including servo motor setups and secure Bluetooth headsets for the Turkish police force.

Earlier in their career, Ferhat worked as a Principal Hardware Engineer at Certes Networks from January 2011 to March 2012 and at Cipheroptics Inc. from April 2001 to January 2011. Ferhat initially started their career as a Systems Engineer at Barr-Mullin Inc. in August 1994 before becoming a Research Assistant at NC State University in 1993.

Ferhat Fenercioglu obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Electrical Engineering from Middle East Technical University (Orta Doğu Teknik Üniversitesi) in 1992. Ferhat then pursued further education and completed a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Electrical Engineering from North Carolina State University from 1992 to 1994.
