As a Product Owner you will be a member of our core engineering team, actively working with Stakeholders: business and other POs through our Scrum cycles. You will be accountable for maximizing the value of the product resulting from the work of the Scrum Team. As a Product owner you will influence the product vision (“what”) as well as the engineering approach to achieve it (“how”). 

Precisely is seeking a Product Owner to support development of a large project. The successful candidate in this role will be accountable for maximizing the value of the product resulting from the work of the Scrum Teams.

  • Work with business (Product Management, Customers, Partners) to establish and maintain a clear vision for the Product that aligns with the overall business goals.
  • Work with third parties to clarify requirements/specification (i.e. Integration APIs)
  • Maintaining and prioritizing the Product Backlog in Jira.
  • Provide clarity to the team about product’s vision and goal.
  • Track work progress at the release level.
  • Being accountable for the transparency of the status and the Product Backlog.
  • Participate in sprint meetings to help the team understand the priorities and goals.
  • Review the completeness of Stories according to the Definition of Done and closes the Epics once completed.
  • Participates during the estimation of sizes for Stories

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience of Product Owner role working several Scrum teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Decision Making
  • Excellent planning and organisation skills
  • Proactiveness
  • Excellent Soft skills including Collaboration, Flexibility, Adaptation
  • Being able to quickly understands the dependencies between functionalities in order to plan the work of team well in cooperation with other teams

Preferred requirements:

  • Experience working with Jira and Aha
  • Cloud environment experience (i.e. AWS)
  • Experience with web applications using REST
  • Experience of working with large enterprise clients
  • Certified Scrum Product Owner or Scrum Master
