Nicolas Chianella

Nicolas Chianella has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Nicolas started their career at Omron Industrial Automation Europe as an intern in production, where they gained hands-on experience in the field. Nicolas then worked as a collaborator at 3D AEROSPACE LTD, contributing to the development of a high precision GPS and conducting a marketing study.

Moving forward, Nicolas worked as a Deep Learning/Computer Vision Intern at IMRA Europe S.A.S., where they developed algorithms for computer vision tasks using neural networks. Nicolas also had the opportunity to work on gesture recognition using both RGB and event cameras.

Following their internship, they joined HES-SO Valais-Wallis as a Computer Vision Researcher, applying machine learning techniques to object recognition in images. Nicolas also worked as a Research Assistant at the same institution, participating in various projects related to classical and deep learning machine learning. Nicolas'sresponsibilities included data collection, manipulation, algorithm application, and evaluation.

Currently, Nicolas works as a Data Scientist at Predictive Layer, utilizing their data science skills to provide valuable insights and predictions.

Nicolas Chianella obtained their Master's degree from IMT Mines Albi, specializing in Energie et Transition Numérique: Machine Learning and Software Engineering. Nicolas attended IMT Mines Albi from 2017 to 2020. Prior to that, they attended Lycée Victor Hugo from 2014 to 2017 where they completed Classe préparatoire aux grandes écoles, focusing on Mathematics and Physics.
