Alexander Ackon

Alexander Ackon is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in claims management and auditing. Currently serving as the Chief Claims Officer at the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA) since November 2013, Alexander also holds the position of Lead Auditor at Preferred by Nature since January 2013. Prior to these roles, Alexander worked as a Science Tutor at Deks Educational Institute from January 2013 to November 2013. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Water Supply and Environmental Sanitation from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (2018-2020), a Postgraduate Diploma in Occupational Health Safety and Environment Management from Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (2015), a Bachelor of Science Certificate in Global Environmental Management from University College of Oslo (2010), and a Bachelor of Science in Natural Resources Management and Policy from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (2006-2010).
