Julie Parent

Julie Parent is a Senior Supply Chains Specialist at Preferred by Nature since April 2023, bringing extensive experience in auditing and consulting within environmental and social impact assessments. Previous roles include serving as a Conseillère en vérification au Bureau du vérificateur général for Ville de Montréal and as an Auditrice at NEPCon. With a strong background in social impact evaluation and sustainability, Julie has contributed to various organizations including Rainforest Alliance and Groupe AGÉCO. Julie holds advanced degrees in environmental sciences from UQAM and has completed specialized training in chain of custody auditing. Julie’s academic contributions include teaching and presenting research on life cycle assessment and social impacts at several universities and conferences.
