Alexis B.

Alexis B. has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. They started their career as a scientific consultant at Alstom Transport and later worked as an assistant researcher at Harvard University and The Chinese University of Hong Kong. They also worked as an intern at AXA in the field of actuarial analysis. In 2009, Alexis co-founded Les Ernest, a platform that featured intellectuals and researchers in online videos. They then served as a teaching assistant at Lycée Henri IV and Sciences Po. Alexis founded and served as the CTO of WattStrat, a SaaS energy simulation platform. They raised significant funding for the company and gained paying clients. Alexis joined QuickSign as the Head of Data, responsible for technical planning, recruitment, and coordinating work with other teams. They developed deep learning modules and optimized solutions for classification, text detection, and recognition needs. Additionally, they led a team of data engineers and developers in scaling and industrializing BI projects. Most recently, Alexis is the Director of AI Engineering at Preligens, focusing on the development of AI technologies.

Alexis B. completed their Baccalauréat in the Section S at Lycée EABJM from 1989 to 2004. They then attended Lycée Pasteur from 2004 to 2006, where they pursued CPGE - section PC. Alexis B. went on to complete a Master's degree in Physique des liquides et de la matière molle at Ecole normale supérieure from 2006 to 2010. They continued their education at Ecole normale supérieure from 2010 to 2012, obtaining another Master's degree in Analyses et Politiques Économiques. Lastly, Alexis B. pursued a Doctorate degree in Économie at Ecole des Ponts ParisTech from 2012 to 2018.
