Shao Ning Pei

Shao Ning Pei is the current Director of Consumables at Prellis Biologics. Pei has over eleven years of experience in engineering and design, ranging from single cell soil and human gut microbiome to microfluidics and cartridges. Prior to joining Prellis Biologics, Pei was a Principal Consumables Design Engineer at Berkeley Lights, Inc., where they worked on developing single cells opto electropositoning (OEP) and T cell immunotherapy workflow. Pei obtained their undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan and their graduate degree from UC Berkeley.

Shao Ning Pei pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences at the University of California, Berkeley. Prior to that, they completed a B.S.E in Electrical Engineering at the University of Michigan. Shao also attended Raffles Institution for their middle school and high school education, completing the GCE O Levels to GCE A Levels.

They are on a team with Keelin Davis - Research Associate, Shivakshi Gupta - Research Associate, and Randall Lowe - Senior Director of Chemistry. Their manager is Melanie Matheu, Founder & CEO.
