David Ward

David Ward has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. David currently serves as the Lead Senior Accountant at Premier Consulting & Integration LLC since November 2020. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Accountant at Comtech Command & Control Technologies from January 2019 to November 2020, where they handled daily cash management, cash forecasting, invoicing, GL reconciliation, and assisted with month-end close. David ensured accounting practices were in accordance with GAAP and FAR, compiled and reconciled data into Incurred Costs model, and produced spreadsheets and status reports regularly.

From September 2014 to December 2018, David worked as a Financial Analyst at Stinger Ghaffarian Technologies (SGT), where they were responsible for training program development and implementation for Deltek Time & Expense Super User. David developed a budgeting model for Business Development and performed cost accounting, GL coding, and invoice auditing for all indirect expenses.

Earlier in their career, David served as an Assistant Store Manager at Total Wine & More from March 2014 to September 2014. David also worked as a Personal Market Sales Representative at Liberty Mutual Insurance from March 2011 to March 2014, where they sold various insurance products using consultative selling techniques and provided counseling and advice to customers.

Prior to that, David was a Store Manager at Office Depot from August 2006 to December 2010, where they led a team, facilitated training programs, and managed the operations of multiple stores. David also worked as a Store Manager at Starbucks Coffee Company from September 2005 to August 2006, and as an Assistant Store Manager at Office Depot from January 1999 to September 2005.

David Ward attended Anne Arundel Community College from 1997 to 2006, where they pursued a degree in General Studies. In addition to their college education, they have obtained multiple certifications in various areas related to financial management and accounting from Deltek. These certifications include the Deltek Pros Costpoint Financial Foundations Exam, Costpoint Certification with Time Exam, Costpoint Certification with Projects Exam, Costpoint Certification with Expense Certification Exam, Costpoint Certification with Accounts Payable Exam, Costpoint Certification with Billing and Accounts Receivable Exam, and Costpoint Certification with General Ledger Exam. The certifications were obtained between the years 2021 and 2023.
