Head Of Sensory And Product Analytics at Premier Foods

Geraldine Garbett has extensive work experience in the sensory and product guidance field at Premier Foods. Geraldine began their career as a Sensory and Product Guidance Student Technologist in 2009, where they worked on sweet and savoury food products and managed projects with a panel of 14 panellists. In 2011, they became a Sensory and Product Guidance Technologist, focusing on consumer research and combining sensory and consumer data. Geraldine then progressed to the role of Senior Sensory and Product Guidance Technologist in 2012, where they further developed their project management skills. In 2015, Geraldine took on the role of Sensory and Product Guidance Manager on an interim basis, before being promoted to the permanent position in 2016. As Sensory and Product Guidance Manager, they managed central location testing and home use testing for innovation and quality across Grocery and Sweet Treats. Geraldine also researched sensory and consumer methodologies to guide product development. Most recently, Geraldine served as the Head of Sensory and Product Analytics at Premier Foods, starting in December 2020.

Geraldine Garbett graduated from Sheffield Hallam University in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Food and Nutrition. Prior to attending university, they completed their secondary education at Verulam School from 2005 to 2007 and at St Albans Girls School from 2000 to 2005.
