James Pickles has a strong background in the sports media industry. James worked at TV Sports Markets from 2000 to 2011, serving as the Editor-in-chief and senior writer for the business-to-business newsletter. In 2011, they joined MP & Silva as the Head of Research & Intelligence, where they played a significant role in strategic documentation, market intelligence, and successful bids for various sports properties. Since 2016, James has been working at The Premier League as the Head of Broadcast Research and Analytics.

James Pickles attended King's College London from 1993 to 1996, where they obtained a 1st class degree in History.
