Shanan Kumar Powell

Shanan Kumar Powell is an Associate Brand Manager at Premier Nutrition since July 2023, bringing extensive experience in brand management and sustainability. Previously, Shanan served as an MBA Candidate at MIT Sloan School of Management, where involvement included earning a Sustainability Certificate and holding leadership positions in the Food & Agriculture Club and Sustainability Summit. Prior internship roles included Associate Brand Manager Intern at General Mills focusing on the Natural & Organic Business Unit, Product Management Intern at Ceres Imaging, and Market Research Intern at The Good Food Institute. Shanan has also contributed to the Greater Boston Food Bank as a Young Professionals Board Member and held various positions at Liberty Mutual Insurance, including National Communication Co-Director of the Asian Affinity Group. Shanan holds an MBA from MIT and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Psychology from Tufts University.
