Yasser Ahmed

Yasser Ahmed, MD, MPH, currently serves as the Health & Nutrition Activities Manager at Première Urgence Internationale since May 2022, focusing on health, nutrition, and MHPSS activities in Taiz. Prior roles include Technical Health Officer at Building Foundation for Development and Senior Medical Officer at International Medical Corps, overseeing and ensuring quality in health program implementation. Yasser's extensive experience spans various positions within Première Urgence Internationale, including Health Facility Medical Officer and Roving Doctor, alongside critical roles with organizations such as Save the Children, MSF, and UNICEF, providing medical care and leadership in cholera treatment and pediatric health. Yasser holds a Master of Public Health from the Arab Board of Medical Specializations, a Postgraduate Diploma in Community Health and Preventive Medicine from the Yemeni Council of Medical Specializations, and a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from Sana'a University.
