Bernhard Hörmann is a Scientist in Assay Development at Thermo Fisher Scientific since March 2021. Prior experience includes serving as a Postdoctoral Scientist at Universität Freiburg from March 2019 to February 2021 and as a Predoctoral Fellow at EMBL from February 2015 to February 2019, where research was conducted under Prof. Maja Köhn as part of the EMBL International PhD Programme. Earlier roles include a Master Student position at DKFZ German Cancer Research Center, focusing on high-throughput mutagenesis to study protein translation control in fruit flies, and a Bachelor Student position at The University of Edinburgh, working on the transient overexpression of nuclear membrane proteins in human cancer cells.
