Espartaco Camero

Espartaco Camero is a seasoned data professional currently serving as a Senior Data Scientist at Preply since November 2023. Previously, Camero held various roles at Mad Collective, advancing from Data Science Manager to Data Science & Analytics Manager from July 2020 to November 2023. Prior to this, experience at eDreams ODIGEO as a Data Scientist involved creating and applying advanced machine learning models for improved decision-making and fraud detection. Camero's tenure at Telefónica Venezuela included roles as Data Scientist and Data Analyst, where significant achievements included reducing churn and increasing TV upselling packages. Earlier experience as a Senior Marketing Research Analyst at INMARK focused on quantitative market studies, complemented by a role as a Mathematics Professor at Universidad Central de Venezuela. Camero holds an MSc in Marketing Management and an MS in Statistics from Universidad Central de Venezuela, as well as a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mathematics.
