Isaac Bernat

Isaac Bernat is an experienced software engineer with a strong background in backend and fullstack development. Currently serving as a Senior Backend Engineer at Preply since March 2020, Isaac has successfully scaled a subscription model resulting in a 40% year-over-year increase in user lifetime value and has led the longest-running A/B test at the company. Prior to Preply, Isaac worked as a Fullstack Engineer at Ivbar, where contributions included processing non-episodic patient groups and developing a processor for the National Quality Registry for Breast Cancer. Isaac’s earlier roles include positions as CTO & CFO at Productos Aditivos, Fullstack Engineer at Wrapp, and Junior Software Engineer at FXstreet.com. Isaac holds a Master’s degree in Informatics Engineering from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya and completed a Master's Thesis in Informatics at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology.
