Scott Kasper

Scott Kasper is currently the Chief of the Albuquerque Ambulance Service at Presbyterian Healthcare Services. Scott has held this position since February of 2018. Prior to their current position, Scott Kasper was the Assistant Vice President of Emergency Services at Virtua Health. Scott held this position from January 2004 to February 2018. In this position, they provided leadership, vision, strategy, and guidance for eight cost center operating departments. These departments included 275 employees and an operating budget of $22 million and gross revenue of more than $90 million. Kasper developed and implemented the department’s operational plan, strategic priorities, vision, goals, and objectives, as well as KPI and performance metrics. Scott oversaw, mentored, and collaborated with the management team of two directors and 12 managers. Kasper also collaborated with internal and external leaders to ensure organizational effectiveness, excellent clinical care, and outstanding customer service. Scott ensured employee engagement and accountability through models of shared governance and relationship-based care. Lastly, Kasper directed and collaborated on contract negotiation for physicians, vendors, and collective bargaining units.

In addition to their work history, Scott Kasper is also a Six Sigma Green Belt. Scott completed training in and applied performance improvement tools used in clinical and business unit settings. Scott applied statistical analytics and process improvement techniques (DMAIC, LEAN, Kaizen). Kasper also served as operations improvement coach and as positive change agent using tools to solve problems, improve systems or processes, as well as increase shared vision and acceptance.

Scott Kasper attended Hamden Hall Country Day School before going to Tufts University for their undergraduate and graduate degrees. Scott received a BS in Biology and an MS in Civil Engineering / Environ. Health from Tufts.
