Jim Markwith

Jim Markwith is an experienced legal professional currently serving as Chief Legal Officer at Prescryptive Health, Inc. since March 2023. Jim has a rich background in technology and healthcare law, founding Markwith Law PS in April 2014, where expertise encompasses technology, software transactions, healthcare IT development, and intellectual property licensing. Previously, Jim co-founded TLDRLegal and held senior legal roles at Veradigm®, GE HealthCare, Microsoft, and Adobe, contributing significantly to software licensing, mergers and acquisitions, and compliance in open source software. Jim's career began in the US Navy, where responsibilities included piloting and teaching economics at the US Naval Academy. Jim holds a J.D. from Santa Clara University School of Law and an MBA from Sorrell College of Business, complemented by a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from California State University, Long Beach.
