Michael Chou

Michael Chou has a diverse range of work experience. Michael is currently working as a Product/Project Lead at Presence Product Group, LLC since October 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Project Lead at Artsolute Digital starting from November 2018. From January 2016 to June 2018, they were the Founder/CEO/Lead Product Manager at Shoobilee, Inc.

Before their entrepreneurial endeavor, Michael worked as a Senior Director at Energo Solar from May 2015 to October 2016. In this role, they revamped the business and marketing strategy, maintained customer relationships, and developed a training program for the sales team.

From December 2013 to May 2015, Michael served as the Lead Product Manager at Yiyii Inc. During their tenure, they completed a comprehensive PRD, delivered a WeChat add-on app solution within three months, and developed a prototype mobile app with the Twilio platform.

Prior to Yiyii Inc., Michael was a System Product Manager at ViVOtech from May 2011 to August 2013, where they designed NFC mobile payment implementations for McDonald's Drive-Through and Jack-in-the-Box. Michael also launched a vending machine NFC mobile payment solution.

Before ViVOtech, Michael was a Product Manager at ID TECH from May 2009 to April 2011. In this role, they established the company's first product management department workflow, introduced a new product line, and defined new PRD for the Brazilian payment market.

Michael's career began at LION TRAVEL SERVICE CO., LTD, where they worked as a Sales and Marketing Manager from March 2007 to April 2009. Prior to that, they were an Associate Product Manager at ID TECH from February 2005 to January 2007.

Michael Chou holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Cognitive Science from the University of California, Berkeley. In addition to their degree, they have obtained certifications including Scrum: Advanced from LinkedIn in May 2018 and Certified Bitcoin Professional (CBP) from the CryptoCurrency Certification Consortium.
