Sara Chieco

Sara Chieco has a diverse range of work experience in the technology industry. Sara started their career as a Software Engineer at Carbon Five, where they developed n-tiered enterprise systems for various clients. Sara then joined PRN as a Senior Software Engineer, where they supported video and audio production and post-production, as well as programming and content distribution for broadcast advertising programming. Sara received Outstanding Quarterly Achievement Awards in 2002 and 2005.

In 2005, Sara became a Senior Software Engineer at Papilia, where they worked until 2007. Sara then joined Groundwire as a CRM Consultant for a brief period in 2012.

From 2008 to 2014, Sara worked at Exponent Partners as a Senior Business Analyst & Technical Architect. Sara played a crucial role in delivering all projects for the first year and was responsible for implementing the entire lifecycle of projects, including project management, requirements, design, coding, QA, data migration, and training.

In 2014, Sara joined Presence Product Group, LLC as the Director of Technology, Salesforce. In this role, they managed the project delivery of the Salesforce/Social Impact group, which focuses on custom product development for non-profits on the Salesforce.com platform. Sara led a team of 12-15 people and managed enterprise-level projects to ensure high-quality delivery.

In 2016, Sara served as a Member of the Board of Directors at Tandem, Partners in Early Learning until 2019.

Sara Chieco began their education at John Jay High School from 1986 to 1990. After graduating from high school, they attended Wesleyan University from 1990 to 1994, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Math and computer science. Sara further pursued their education at the University of Oregon from 1996 to 1998, obtaining a Master of Science degree in Computer Science.

In addition to their formal education, Sara Chieco has also obtained various certifications in Salesforce. Sara received the Salesforce Certified Administrator (SCA) certification in September 2014, followed by the Salesforce.com Certified Force.com Developer certification in November 2009. Sara continued to expand their qualifications with the Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I certification in December 2015, the Salesforce Certified Sales Cloud Consultant certification in January 2016, the Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder certification in August 2017, and the Salesforce Certified Community Cloud Consultant Certification in March 2018.
