Customer Operations Manager at Preserve

Alison Schymik has a diverse work experience. Alison started as a Sales Associate at Chico's FAS Inc. in 2008. In 2010, they became an Intern at HGRM where they developed an in-house recycling program, contacted haulers, coordinated bin and dumpster placement, designed signage, and developed a set of instructions for the handbook. Alison also assisted with day-to-day operations of sorting donations, assisting clients, and data entry. In 2011, they became an Assistant Teacher at APS Integrated Preschool, where they helped plan daily activities, set up classroom for art activities, playtime, lunch and rest for an all-day preschool classroom. Alison also managed transitions, facilitated appropriate play and conversation between students, and assisted ABA trainers with education assessment and behavior plans when appropriate. In 2011, they also became the Customer Operations Manager at Preserve, where they processed wholesale orders, worked with supply chain, manufacturers, and customers to ensure they were fulfilled properly and on time. Alison also troubleshot order and shipping issues with wholesale accounts and online store customers, and managed inventory for the online store.

Alison Schymik attended the University of Vermont from 2005 to 2010, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies. In 2008, they took a semester abroad at Living Routes Auroville, India, studying Sustainability, Community, and Indian Culture. Prior to that, they attended ABRHS from 2001 to 2005.
