Nishant Verma

Nishant Verma's work experience includes being a Senior Research Engineer at Presidio Medical, Inc. where they are part of the Science & Technology team. Nishant has also worked as a Neural Engineering R&D member for Ludwig Lab at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Additionally, Nishant has held positions such as a Research Engineer at BioCircuit Technologies, a Scientist at Abbott, and a Neuroengineering Undergraduate Researcher at Rice University. Nishant has also served as the R&D Lead at ALLOTROPE MEDICAL INC., an R&D Intern at Cala Health, and an R&D Intern (Electrical Engineering) at LivaNova. Additionally, Nishant has experience as a Founder of EBlocks and as a Researcher at the International Young Physicist Tournament.

Nishant Verma's education history includes obtaining a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from Rice University in the period from 2015 to 2019. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at Anglo-Chinese School (Independent) between 2009 and 2014, where they pursued the International Baccalaureate program.

Continuing their education, Nishant pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 2019 to 2021. Furthermore, they simultaneously worked towards a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in the same field at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, starting in 2019 and expected to graduate in 2022.

In addition to their formal education, Nishant Verma also obtained a certification for Circuits and Electronics from edX, which granted him an edX Verified Certificate in January 2015.
