Barb Laba

Barb Laba, PHR, SHRM-CP, has a diverse and extensive work experience in human resources. Barb started their career as an HR Representative at Affirmative Insurance Services, Inc., where they supported a large number of employees, managed benefits, and implemented recruitment processes. Barb then moved on to Centene Corporation, where they excelled as an HR Manager, working closely with executive leaders to align HR strategies with organizational goals and ensure compliance with HR regulations. After that, they served as an HR Business Partner at Integrated Project Management, where they provided valuable support on various people-related matters. Currently, they work as the Director of Human Resources at Press Ganey, serving as a key point of contact for multiple C-Suite members and driving talent management, training, compensation, and change management initiatives. Throughout their career, Barb has consistently demonstrated their expertise and commitment to HR excellence.

Barb Laba, PHR, SHRM-CP has a Bachelor's of Arts degree in Psychology with a minor in Business Administration, obtained at Saint Xavier University. Additionally, they completed a Professional in HR Certificate program at DePaul University in 2007. Barb holds additional certifications, including the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) from the HR Certification Institute, obtained in 2007, and the SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) from the Society for Human Resource Management, obtained in 2015.
