Dr Ian Whyte

Dr Ian Whyte's work experience includes:

- Area Manager, UK at Pressenger Kft since February 2023 (ongoing).

- Associate Manager, UK at Pressenger Kft from October 2021 to February 2023. Dr Ian'srole involved working with the Pressenger visual notification engine, which is an innovative mobile notification technology aimed at creating a personal and emotional bond between users and apps.

- Chair at the International Network of Sport and Health Science from November 2020 to February 2023.

- MD at I Double U Ltd from February 2020 to February 2023.

- Principal Lecturer and Team leader at the University of Sunderland from September 2004 to November 2020.

- Senior Lecturer at Bell College from June 1996 to August 1999.

- Head of Department at Motherwell College from August 1991 to July 1996.

Dr. Ian Whyte had their secondary education at Possilpark Secondary School in Glasgow from 1965 to 1971. Dr Ian then went on to pursue a Master's Degree in Physical Education and Exercise Studies at the University of Glasgow from 1989 to 1992. Following this, from 1993 to 1995, they attended the University of Strathclyde where they obtained a teaching qualification in the form of a pgCertEd. Lastly, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Vocational Education in the field of Sports Coaching at the University of Sunderland from 2007 to 2013.
