Christian M. Bauer

Christian M. Bauer has a diverse work experience in legal and corporate roles. Christian M. is currently the VP, Head of Intellectual Property at Pretzel Therapeutics since March 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Co-Owner of Reading United A.C. from January 2022, a minor league soccer franchise. From November 2019 to March 2023, they worked as a Sr. Corp. Counsel at Bristol Myers Squibb.

Christian also worked at RB Legal Counsel LLC, where they served as Of Counsel from September 2013 to October 2021. This firm specialized in providing legal services to Reading, PA's Hispanic entrepreneurial community. Prior to that, they held various roles at Celgene, including Senior Corp. Counsel and Corporate Counsel, from May 2015 to November 2019.

Additionally, Christian has experience in board membership as a Board Member at KidsPeace National Centers from April 2013 to June 2016. Christian M. also worked at Shire Pharmaceuticals as the Senior Director, IP Legal, Patent Counsel GI/HAE/Trademarks from February 2015 to May 2015, and as the Director, IP Legal, Patent Counsel GI/HAE/Trademarks from May 2011 to May 2015.

Before that, they worked at Elan Pharmaceuticals (Elan Drug Technologies) as the Director, IP from February 2011 to April 2011, and as the Associate Director, IP from January 2007 to February 2011. Christian started their career at RatnerPrestia as an Associate from September 2003 to December 2006.

Christian M. Bauer has a diverse education history. Christian M. began their educational journey in 1989 at Schuylkill Valley, where they completed their secondary education. From 1993 to 1997, Christian pursued their undergraduate degree at Gettysburg College, focusing on Biochemistry/Molecular Biology. After completing their bachelor's degree, they moved on to Marshall University, where they obtained a Master of Science in Forensic Science from 1997 to 1999. Continuing their academic journey, Christian attended UNH Franklin Pierce School of Law from 2000 to 2003, earning their Juris Doctor (J.D.) with a specialization in Intellectual Property.
